What To Do in Blackpool This August Bank Holiday Weekend

Make the most of your August Bank Holiday in Blackpool, where live music, family fun, and festival excitement come together for a weekend full of memories.

An Italian Summer by the Sea at Beach House

Step into Beach House Blackpool and let the Tower Vista terrace transport you straight to the Italian coast. Think bright Aperol Spritz cocktails, sunshine-infused Mediterranean small plates from Executive Chef Diego Martinez, and panoramic views of the beach and Blackpool Tower that feel like a holiday every time you look up.

Wake up slow with a lazy breakfast on the terrace from 9am to 11.30am, or pop in for lunch or dinner to soak up the atmosphere as the sun sets over the sea. With its breezy, stylish vibe, Tower Vista is the perfect spot to catch up with friends, toast the long weekend, and embrace the summer spirit right on Blackpool’s Promenade.

Blackpool Cricket Club Festival

After selling out in 2024, this festival is back and promises a day packed with entertainment, raising funds for the club along the way, on Saturday, August 23rd at Stanley Park.

Tribute bands will perform favourites from Oasis, Arctic Monkeys, Take That, Queen, Duran Duran, Kasabian, Abba, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, and Gerry Cinnamon, hosted by Dave Sweetmore. Families can enjoy fairground rides, bouncy castles, face painting, a VIP area, and outdoor bars.

Tickets are already on sale, but only a few remain.
