Blackpool Pleasure Beach is back for the 2025 season, bringing exciting new attractions, fresh ticketing options, and updates to its entertainment lineup.
One of the biggest announcements is the arrival of a brand-new Gyro Swing ride in 2026. With an investment of £8.72 million, this will be the largest of its kind in the UK, reaching heights of 138 feet and swinging riders 120 degrees. Almost double the size of similar rides in the UK, it promises to be a major thrill-seeker’s attraction when it opens next year.
For the first time, Pleasure Beach is introducing afternoon-only tickets, allowing visitors to arrive later in the day for a reduced price. From 1:30pm, ticket prices will decrease each hour, dropping to £34 at 3:30pm. On selected dates, when the park is open until 10:00pm, this means visitors can still enjoy more than six hours of rides for a lower cost.
The Launch Pad ride has also been completely reimagined for 2025. A 200-foot tower, which travelled more than 1,000 miles across Europe before arriving in Blackpool, is at the heart of its transformation. With a bold space exploration theme, new branding, and an enhanced rider experience, it’s set to be a standout attraction this season.
Pleasure Beach is also strengthening its entertainment offering with the appointment of Abbie Farnell as Head of Wardrobe. With experience working on productions such as Strictly Come Dancing, The Voice, and various West End shows, Abbie will oversee costumes for the park’s live entertainment, including the return of Hot Ice XS, which runs from July 10 to September 13.
The park is now open for weekends in March before moving to daily operations from April 5. Tickets can be booked in advance at pleasurebeachresort.com, with the best prices available for those who plan ahead.
