Blackpool’s high street businesses have an exciting opportunity to take part in the Retail Renaissance Programme, a fully funded initiative designed to help retailers strengthen their customer offer, grow sales and build resilience for the future.
Delivered by the North & Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Customer Love and Boost Lancashire’s Business Growth Hub, the programme is worth up to £3,000 per place and is available completely free of charge to local retailers.
The programme brings together a series of hands-on workshops covering customer journey mapping, customer experience, digital marketing, SEO, content strategy and networking. Each session has been designed to give retailers practical tools and fresh ideas to meet the challenges of today’s high street.
Looking ahead to 2026, the offer will expand with sessions on financial guidance, workforce development, online sales optimisation, innovation and resilience. Alongside workshops, there is the option of one-to-one mentoring tailored to individual needs and peer-to-peer sessions where businesses can share experiences and learn from one another.
The programme is open to all high street retailers, from independent shops to service-based businesses. Taking part in the full set of workshops leads to official certification, but it is also possible to book individual sessions. Each business can secure up to two places, with the flexibility to send different colleagues to different workshops.
