Blackpool Pleasure Beach is celebrating a milestone anniversary this summer as its legendary ice show returns for its 90th year – bigger and more star-studded than ever.

A world-class show at Pleasure Beach draws visitors into the resort for the whole summer season, supporting footfall for hotels, restaurants, and shops across both the Town Centre and Tourism BID areas – exactly the kind of shared success our levy-funded work is designed to help build on.
Hot Ice XC will bring together a cast of 30 skaters from across the globe, with performers travelling in from as far as Japan, Finland, and the United States to take to the ice at the Pleasure Beach Arena.
The production also honours Blackpool’s own skating heritage, spotlighting homegrown talent including James Horrocks, Nadia Craggs, Francesca Guerin, and Jasmine Robinson. Robinson’s involvement is especially fitting as she’s the third generation of her family to perform in a Pleasure Beach ice show, following in the footsteps of her grandmother Inge and her father Paul, a two-time British national champion.
