VisitBlackpool officially launched the 2025 season yesterday with an event at the Winter Gardens celebrating everything the town has to offer.
The afternoon featured a packed programme of live performances, guest speakers and exhibitor stands, all showcasing what makes Blackpool a year-round destination for visitors of all ages. From new attractions and upcoming events to the town’s established tourism offer, the event highlighted the range and scale of activity planned for the year ahead.
The season launch brought together key partners, tourism businesses and performers, with support from Blackpool Tourism BID, as part of ongoing efforts to promote the resort and support the local visitor economy.
Kyle Murray, Marketing Director at VisitBlackpool, said: “Nowhere can offer what Blackpool does – and nowhere does it quite like Blackpool. This year’s launch was a brilliant opportunity to bring together those who help make the town what it is, and to look ahead to what promises to be another exciting year for visitors and businesses alike.”
The 2025 season is expected to build on last year’s successes, with a growing events calendar, new developments and continued investment across the town centre and seafront.
