What’s Happening in Blackpool This Halloween

Blackpool is full of ghoulish goings-on, family fun and frightful entertainment to enjoy this Halloween.

From theatre shows and ghost tours to family parties and themed attractions, there’s plenty happening across the town.

The Grand Theatre has a line-up to die for. Follow Herbert into the eerie old cinema in Shock Horror: A Ghost Story on Tuesday, October 21st, or see ghosts come to life in Blithe Spirit from Tuesday, October 28th to Saturday, November 1st. Tales of the Witching Hour takes place on Thursday, October 30th for an evening of spine-tingling storytelling. And for those who prefer something musical, the Blackpool Symphony Orchestra Halloween Prom is on Sunday, November 2nd, a great one for all the family.

Over at Viva Blackpool, the Halloween celebrations continue. Party at the CarnEVIL edition of Bongo’s Bingo on Friday, October 31st or sing along to The Rocky Horror Show on the same night.

Blackpool Pleasure Beach is embracing Halloween all month long, with themed activities, roaming characters, freak nights and cabarets. Sea Life’s Ascarium is another must-visit, where you can meet witches and warlocks and discover secrets from beneath the waves during half term.

Families with younger children can head to Abingdon Street Market on Sunday, October 26th from 1pm to 3pm for the Monster Mash Halloween Party, packed with fun, games, prizes and surprises.

The Bounce Play Centre is hosting its own Halloween Party on Saturday, October 25th and Friday, October 31st. Expect spooky biscuit decorating, party food and plenty of bouncing between 10am and 5pm.

If you’re feeling brave, the 15th and final season of Walking with Ghosts invites you to meet the Victorian Ghost Hunter and explore some of Blackpool’s most haunted streets and attractions.

And for a family favourite, The Gruffalo and Friends Clubhouse is welcoming Witch from Room on the Broom until Sunday, November 2nd. Join the Halloween dance party and enjoy songs, dancing and plenty of fun for little ones.
