Beach House Bar and Restaurant will take a short seasonal pause this January before reopening just in time for Valentine’s Day with a refreshed look.
The Blackpool beachfront favourite will close on Sunday, January 11th and reopen on Thursday, February 12th, following a month-long refurbishment that includes a reimagining of the much-loved Starling area, along with updates throughout the venue.
Overlooking the Irish Sea, the Starling area is known for its uninterrupted views and the spectacular murmuration of starlings at sunset. Inspired by this natural display, owners Hagop and Cheryl Tchobanian previously worked with local artists at South Shore Metal Blackpool to create a sculptural installation capturing the birds mid-flight. The upcoming refurbishment will build on this, enhancing the atmosphere and comfort of the space.
Hagop and Cheryl said: “This latest renovation for Beach House is just another step in our ongoing commitment to offer something truly special to our customers – from our exclusive food and drink choices to the way our space truly connects with the natural beauty of our surroundings.
“We work very closely with a team of local contractors, including South Shore Metal, and local architect Joseph Boniface, to keep things fresh and interesting and always with a mind to our incredible location and the passion we have for what we do. This latest refurbishment will bring even more lightness to our wonderful space and even softer touches with luxury fabrics and sumptuous seating to enhance every corner of the customer experience.”
When Beach House reopens, its popular Mediterranean-inspired dishes will still be available, with Valentine’s Day plans and further updates for 2026 to be revealed.
