Spring and Summer Blackpool Destination Guide 2026

Buckle up, because 2026 is set to be an exciting year at your favourite seaside resort.

Millions of visitors return each year to enjoy the sights, sounds, and experiences that make the town unique. From spotting the Tower from the back seat of the car to riding the Big One for the first time, or simply walking along the sun-soaked beach, Blackpool has something for everyone.

Alongside its iconic attractions, the town continues to offer new experiences each year, from world-class rides like the Gyro Swing to cultural highlights including rare art exhibitions. Blackpool manages to stay fresh while celebrating its history, which keeps visitors coming back time and again.

This guide comes from Blackpool Tourism, the council’s tourism company. Last summer, Blackpool Tower and its key attractions returned to local management, with Blackpool Tourism taking over from Merlin Entertainments. The organisation now oversees Blackpool Tower, Tower Top Experience, Tower Circus, Tower Ballroom, Sandcastle Waterpark, and Showtown Museum. Madame Tussauds and The Dungeons remain under Merlin franchise.
