Blackpool Tourism BID has secured a new term following the renewal and alteration ballot, confirming continued support from tourism, hospitality and leisure businesses across the resort. The BID will now continue until 31 March 2031.
The Tourism BID received 85.4 percent in favour by number and 97 percent in favour by rateable value.
In the new term, £1.6 million will be invested to extend the season, improve visitor experience, support major events and promote Blackpool as a year round destination.
Since 2021, the Tourism BID has invested close to £1 million into the visitor economy, supporting events and marketing delivered with VisitBlackpool.
